tried it first on one of my concert shoots with Canon R6II and Canon 70-200 2.8 Z lens. best effects are towards 70mm, got interesting shots with dynamjc twirly backgrounds. going to 200mm didn't really help much with effect, and also kinda affected contrast and focusing, which somewhat struggled.

also was somewhat disappointed that rotating the filter really did not do that much to change the pattern - unlike with Neewer Kaleidoscope filter, which really gives largely different appearances when rotating, and which I ended up liking more.

all in all, overlooking the minuses, still can be a good fun for some different kind of shots. but do aim at full frame 70mm focal lengths and less, in my experience that is the best effect.

This lens filter is really interesting. It adds a swirl around the center so you can create very unique images. It's not for every situation but for those special moments it's amazing.
